No Lockdown, for now says Chief Minister

It's been confirmed no Coronavirus restrictions are coming into force today.

The news was confirmed by the Island's Chief Minister during today's Coronavirus press briefing.

It comes despite seven new cases confirmed locally - originating from a 'single cluster'.

Mr Quayle said the Council of Ministers met twice today to discuss and evaluate the situation, but the government believes it understands the chain of transmission and contact tracing is continuing.

The situation will be monitored and the Council of Ministers will meet again tomorrow to review the latest information.
