The chief minister says there are no plans to privatise the Island's health system at the moment.
In the House of Keys this week, Alf Cannan faced a series of questions about private healthcare and paying for treatment.
Mr Cannan said some parts of the service were already paid for by patients.
But he said although there were currently no plans to extend fees, it may be something that's considered in future:
