Residents in Malew won't be facing a rates rise this year.
On Facebook, Malew Commissioners say they're freezing the area's rates at 199p in the pound.
The board says its total rates are rising because of new housing projects bringing more money in.
It says over the coming year it's hoping to continue a program of improvement works in public open spaces.
