No scope to extend hospital opening hours in Ramsey

Extending the opening hours at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital can't be "justified" despite an increase in waiting times at Noble's Hospital.

That's the message from the Department of Health after concerns were raised about increased waiting times - patients now wait, on average, for three hours and six minutes.

The northern facility is open between 8am and 8pm - Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer says changing that that could help relieve the pressure:
