Nobles Hospital strive to improve patient discharge procedures

Nobles Hospital are devising ways in which they can improve the discharge procedure for their patients.

The Patient Safety and Quality Forum have launched the Ready to Go project in response to the findings of the Inpatient Satisfaction Survey.

The process has been identified as being very stressful and at times confusing for the individual.

Almost 30% of patients who responded commented that the discharge from Hospital could be improved.

New policies and training packages for staff have been drawn geared toward raising awareness to the important issue.
