The Northern Civic Amenity Site joint committee board says it needs the Department of Infrastructure to provide £67,600 to cover running costs, after Bride pulled out of the agreement.
In a letter seen by the BBC Local Democracy Reporting Service, the committee says there’s been a ‘lack’ of solutions provided by the department and without the money the board will have to ‘exit the site’.
The letter says the board can only continue if ‘shortfalls’ are covered by the department.
A number of alternative solutions have been drawn up by the board.
It also asked for a response by October 7, in time for its rate-setting process.
