The government says the pool at the National Sports Centre is shut today.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture says it closed the pool at midday while work to replace the flumes takes place.
In a statement, the department says it’ll keep the situation under review as work progresses.
The pool is scheduled to reopen on Saturday morning.
The NSC Pool has closed from 12 noon today (13 September) to facilitate some of the ongoing flumes replacement works. These works are unable to take place whilst the pool is in use.
