More than £4 million is being invested to refurbish and modernize the National Sports Centre.
The proposed plans are expected to take nine months in total - with the competition and leisure pools shutting its doors on Saturday, August 4.
It's due to re--open in May 2019, before the TT.
The plans include replacing the flume rides and the floor of the competition pool - both of which are now 20 years old, a zero-depth wet play area will also be installed, and the changing areas completely modernized.
All other facilities at the NSC will remain open as normal.
