A peregrine falcon, found "caked in cooking oil" has been released back into the wild.
The female bird of prey was found on Port Grenaugh beach last month.
She was unable to fly and was taken in by Manx Wild Bird Aid.
The charity said they had no idea how she ended up in that state but, after several washes, was able to fly again and get back to her natural habitat.
