Onchan commissioners are raising rates by just under five per cent in the next financial year.
Rates will be increased by 20 pence from 411 to 431 pence in the pound which is equivalent to a 4.87 per cent increase.
Commissioners say the increase is because of external financial pressures.
They also say that This is a modest increase and less than the previous year's increase of 10.19 per cent which was a 38 pence increase.
