A one vehicle road traffic collision yesterday has resulted a death.
The collision occurred on Brunswick Road in Douglas at 1pm involving a blue coloured Rover 75 car.
It collided with the wall of the Woodbourne Hotel.
The two occupants of the Rover were taken to Nobles, where one of them was subsequently pronounced dead.
Currently the circumstances leading upto the crash are unclear, police are wanting to speak to anyone who was in the Alexander Drive or Brunswick Road area prior to the collision.
The road was closed for approximately two and a quarter hours while Police conducted their inquiries.
