Over £110k used from Brexit Fund

The government has used just over £110,000 from its Brexit Fund.

The figure was revealed by Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, in Tynwald earlier this week.

Mr Cannan also stated as of March this year £1.9million remained available in the fund, which is helping support the Islands preparations for the UK leaving the EU - currently expected on October 31.

The money spent has been put towards drafting regulations for the Customs & Excise Division and on policy and legislative resources at the Cabinet Office.
