The government's spent over £50,000 on carbon literacy training since the project started two years ago.
Environment Minister Clare Barber gave the figure in response to a question in Tynwald this week from Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
The minister says the money came from the Climate Change Transformation Project.
Mrs Barber explained why she could not predict future costs for the training:
