Packed schedule of events to mark Tynwald Day 2012

This Thursday will see the annual Tynwald Day celebrations, promising the usual mix of ceremony and attractions for all the family.

The formal open-air proceedings will kick start the day followed by a circus and a showcase of Manx Heritage expressed through music song and dance.

The Bunscoill adjacent to Tynwald Hill will act as a hub for over 50 local artists who will promote the Island’s thriving creative scene.

The day will be capped off by the Ellan Vannin Pipes and Drums on Tynwald Hill at 10.00pm, followed by a fire show.
