The Positive Action Group will be holding a public meeting on Monday to give the story behind the formation of the IOM Health & Care Association.
Campaigner Andrew Jessop will be the speaker on the night, giving a presentation that covers care from 'cradle to the grave'.
The association is aiming to ensure that the government and service providers are providing the best quality service to the public.
He will be drawing on the experiences of a significant number of people who have found the service a lot less than desired or acceptable.
The meeting will be held at the Manx Legion Club, Douglas on Monday, getting underway at 7.30pm.
