An expert on Freedom of Information has suggested a number of reasons as to why the Island's government has dragged its heels introducing the legislation.
BBC producer Martin Rosenbaum last night delivered a talk alongside the Positive Action Group on why its introduction here will be beneficial to the Island.
It came into force in the UK in 2005.
