Police are warning dog-owners to be careful after clumps of palm oil have washed up on a local beach.
It comes following a member of the public reporting the problem at Felshwick beach yesterday.
Their own Dog had consumed some and suffered the effects.
The vet involved in the animal's treatment says the substance is highly toxic for Dogs to digest.
