Devices to track how many walkers and cyclists use Island footpaths have been rolled out.
It's as the Department of Infrastructure wants to find out which paths are used the most and data collected will help allocate resources.
One set of the devices has been set up at the Heritage Trail at Glen Lough and another on the Raad ny Foillan coastal path between Peel and Glen Maye.
The DOI added the equipment could be moved around to collect more statistics in due course.
