    Peel carnival road closures this weekend

    A number of road closures and parking suspensions will be in place this weekend due to Peel Carnival.

    The 70th year of the carnival will be celebrated over today and tomorrow, with Peel Headlands being the main parking area for the event.

    Disabled parking is at Fenella Beach car park on West Quay.

    Saturday 6th August 2022 from 3pm - 9pm

    Roads Closed:
    East Quay from Crown Street to Victoria Road.
    Victoria Road from East Quay to Crown Street.


    Sunday 7th August 2022 from 10am - 6pm

    Roads Closed:
    East Quay from Station Place to Victoria Road
    Victoria Road from East Quay to Shore Road
    Shore Road from Victoria Road to Marine Parade
    Marine Parade from Shore Road to Walpole Avenue

    No Parking:
    Crown Street from East Quay to Shore Road
    Castle Street from Crown Street to Market Place
    Church Street from Derby Road to Christian Street

    Suspension of one-way:
    Stanley Road from Christian Street to Cross Street
    Stanley Mount from Circular Road to Bridge Street
    Bridge Street from Stanley Mount to Christian Street and Atholl Place
