A venue in the east of the Island will be able to renew some of its equipment thanks to funding from the Arts Council.
Peel Centenary Centre has had a funding application granted, as some of its infrastructure is showing signs of wearing out after 20 years of service.
The centre says this means it can continue to provide both local and visiting artists with the best facilities it possibly can.
It adds that it appreciates the council's faith and will carry on providing high quality entertainment for all of the Island.
