Police are urging people to take 'basic precautions' in a bid to keep burglars at bay:
Officers are trying to reinforce the message that it's time for people to make simple changes - including locking doors and windows whilst they're at home.
It follows a burglary in Andreas earlier this month - 3FM revealed on Monday that two people have been arrested and bailed in connection with the matter.
There were also several attempted burglaries in Kirk Michael last week - Detective Inspector Mark Newey says it's about stopping your home becoming vulnerable:
