The owner of a former joke shop in Ramsey has applied for retrospective planning permission to demolish it, after structural engineers said it posed a danger to the public.
The former Mills Joke Shop on West Quay was pulled down earlier this year after it partially collapsed and a report said it posed a risk to the public and to anyone attempting repairs.
Now, Ian Piercy of Royal Avenue in Onchan has applied for permission for the work, as well as registered building consent.
The shop closed down in 2018 after decades of serving the town.
