Peel's a step closer to getting a sewage-free beach - after planners approved a new treatment plant.
The facility on Glenfaba Road was discussed at a planning committee meeting yesterday.
The proposals are the latest in a years-long battle to stop pumping untreated sewage into the sea just beyond Peel Breakwater.
Manx Utilities posted to social media, saying it was pleased with the decision and would keep the community updated on its progress.
