Planning submitted for 'Men in Sheds' project in Ramsey

The Department of Health and Social Care has submitted a planning application to provide 'Men in Sheds' with a northern base.

Construction of a structure within the grounds of the Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital was requested following support from Hospital Trustees.

Minister Howard Quayle believes the project will improve the lives of retired men and address social isolation and loneliness apparent in that age group.
