More details have been given of the plans to revamp the historic Groudle Glen waterwheel.
Onchan District Commissioners says the new structure at the site will mirror the original format of the current one, and is proposing the wheel itself is dismantled and refurbished off-Island before then being re-added once it's complete.
The authority says refurbishing the current building wouldn't be possible as the structure is beyond repair - and it aims for the new one to mirror the original as closely as possible.
An agreement was reached in May to demolish and rebuild the landmark, and officials have since said there's been a high level on interest in retaining it for the benefit of residents and visitors.
