A developer has put forward plans to build nearly 30 homes in the Foxdale area.
Local firm Dandara wants to build 26 properties along with a public open space and associated highways on land on the southern side of Mines Road.
The company is proposing to construct a mix of two, three and four bedroom houses which, it says, will 'encourage a wide range of ages and family sizes'.
It adds the scheme is designed to link the existing road and pathways to 'ensure maximum connectivity' with the rest of the community.
