Pledge to look at media investment after studio deal finishes

Treasury will be looking at 'all future options' for the Isle of Man's Media Development Fund.

In Tynwald this week Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper asked what would happen to it when the agreement with Pinewood ends next year:

The fund - which provides a range of options to UK film and TV productions - is due to come to an end in mid-2017.

Minister Alf Cannan said his department will be giving 'serious consideration' to how money left in it should be used:
