Nine Island residents feature in the latest Sunday Times Rich list.
The list reveals there are two billionaires on Island, with the PokerStars creator Mark Sheinberg shooting to the top of the list with a net wealth of £2.7 billion - it puts him 36th in the list overall.
His entry has usurped last year's richest Island resident John Whittaker into second place with a fortune of £2,3 billion.
Mr Whittaker is the majority shareholder at Peel Holdings - the group own shopping centres, ports, airports, Pinewood Shepperton Studios and Salford and are currently undertaking the £5.5 billion regeneration of Liverpool.
