Police appeal after charity cyclist hit by car

Police are appealing for information after a car hit a cyclist on a charity ride but didn't stop.

The incident happened at approximately 2.30pm on Friday - on the Peel to Kirk Michael Coast Road, just past the area of the Devil's Elbow.

Police say a cycling group on a sponsored charity ride were overtaken by a blue coloured 4x4 vehicle, resulting in two riders being taken to Noble's Hospital.

The force now wants to speak to anyone who was on the coast road at the time.

If you have any information you're being asked to get in touch with Peel Police station.
