Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to a car in Crosby.
Police say the tyres were cut and paint stripper was thrown over the bodywork while the vehicle was parked on School Hill.
It happened sometime between 6.30pm on Thursday and 7.30am on Friday.
Police say it has caused the owner considerable inconvenience and distress.
Anyone who witnessed what happened has been asked to contact Peel Police Station.
