Police appeal after elderly couple are burgled in Andreas

It happened at a property situated off Andreas Road at around 8pm - the residents, who are believed to be elderly, were at home at the time. 

 

Reports on social media suggest the burglar entered the front room whilst the couple were watching television and began 'snatching' what they could. 

 

The thief was allegedly wearing a hoody and goggles to conceal their identity. 

 

Officers from CID and the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team say they are investigating as 'a priority'.
