Police appeal for motorist following near collision

Police have put out an appeal for a motorist as they investigate reports of a near collision on the Mountain Road today at around 3.40pm.

They're appealing to the female driver of what's described as a pale coloured vehicle which was travelling towards Douglas in the area of Tower Bends.

The female in question was forced to stop in order to avoid a collision from an oncoming car which had overtaken a large goods vehicle.

Police are anxious to speak to this lady in order to investigate a complaint they have received about the incident.
