Police called out over anti-social behaviour

The constabulary says numerous cases of anti-social behaviour across the Island were reported to authorities yesterday.

According to officers, the incidents involved groups of young people where social distancing was being ignored and, on occasions, fighting with each other.

Authorities are warning those involved that this behaviour must stop, and that 'this would be unacceptable at any time but during the current situation it is unbelievable'.

They add parents and carers need to know where their children are and that, if necessary, Police will have to step in.
