Police had to close the Mountain Road yesterday, after reports of three people walking along the route.
The constabulary says whilst this isn't illegal, they have to question the walkers' sanity.
The Mountain Road is currently one-way up until Tuesday, June 13.
Officers add 'the Island is home to many picturesque walks, stick to these and don't walk on a derestricted one way road.'
