Police are investigating a serious assault which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning last weekend.
At around 12.30am the assault took place on Church Street, Douglas, near to its junction with Athol Street.
The victim sustained a number of injuries to their head and body as a result of the attack; they were left unconscious and spent the night in hospital.
Police would like to speak with anyone who was out on Friday night and may have witnessed the assault or have any relevant information, a mini bus taxi driver is also sought as it's believed they were there at the time of the incident.
