Police are warning people to take care as a weather warning for coastal overtopping is now in force.
In a post on social media - officers say there are numerous reports of local flooding, with the DOI, Fire Service and Police across the Island.
Ronaldsway Met Office is predicting strong to gale force winds, with a risk of debris on exposed coastal roads and promenades.
Areas to be affected include Shore Road, Castletown, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades, as well as central and northern parts of Douglas Promenade.
With High Tide at around 1.15pm - motorists are also being asked to remove any vehicles parked in these areas to avoid damage or being stranded in potential road closures.
Meanwhile, The Mountain Road, Glen Darragh Road and Minorca Hill all remain closed.
