Police have renewed their appeal for the driver of a silver Volkswagen to come forward following Sunday’s car accident near Ballaugh.
It’s thought the Golf was driving directly behind the Honda Jazz car in which 91-year-old Mrs Freda Starkey was a passenger when it collided with a stationary vehicle at Bishopscourt.
Inspector Derek Flint said the police were working through interviews with witnesses and they’re keen to speak to the driver of the Golf.
He stressed they weren't in any trouble but could be a great help in assisting the police in putting together a picture of how things happened moments before the crash.
They’re asked to call police headquarters on 613212.
