A nightclub whose recent social media posts sparked fury among residents has been spoken to by Police.
Guys and Dolls nightclub in Douglas came under widespread criticism following a post last weekend about its Public Displays of Affection (PDA) policy which some residents claimed came across as discriminatory.
The club then issued a further statement this week insisting it remains ‘fully inclusive’ and welcomes all regardless of gender, sexuality or ethnicity.
Now this evening, the constabulary says it has had dialogue with the licensee of the venue and ‘reminded him of his obligations under licensing and equality legislation’.
