Police say they are aware of a rental scam currently circulating on Facebook.
Potential renters are being asked to pay up front for a property that doesn't exist and the scammers appear to be genuine by offering official documents.
They say to not pay any money upfront and to view the property to confirm it actually exists.
They add if you are being pushed into paying money before viewing then it's probably a scam.
