Figures reveal Island residents aren't sharing their opinions - with only two government consultations receiving more than 100 responses this year.
In the House of Keys yesterday Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas how many people responded to the last ten government studies.
In response, Mr Thomas said the majority received little interest from the public - with fewer than 100 responses in eight of the ten cases.
The two that sparked more comment were about active travel - which had 379 responses - and the Abortion Reform Bill with 3,644.
