    Popular racer Neil Kent dies in last nights MGP qualifying session

    49-year-old Neil Kent from Boston, Lincolnshire died following an incident at Greeba Castle.

    The Manx Motor Cycle Club have announced the death of a rider in last nights qualifying session for the Manx Grand Prix.

    49-year-old Neil Kent from Boston, Lincolnshire died following an incident at Greeba Castle.

    Neil was an experienced competitor who had been racing in the Manx Grand Prix since 1986 and won the Lightweight race in last year’s meeting, his first victory on the Mountain Course.

    He’s been described as an immensely popular competitor.

    His next of kin have now been informed.
