    Possible delay to new Programme for Government

    The Council of Ministers

    Discussion and debate on the blueprint for the new-look government administration could be delayed.

    The Council of Ministers has requested extra time to put the 'Programme for Government' together before placing it before Tynwald. 
     
    Tynwald Members had originally resolved it would be brought back to the court in January next year - however yesterday President Steve Rodan told them there could be a delay: 
     
     
    CoMIN says it believes it will be able to circulate the document on January 10th - if it meets that deadline the paper will be laid before Tynwald at the first sitting of 2017.
