    Post office protest march planned for Ramsey tomorrow

    Protesters will take to the streets of Ramsey tomorrow to voice their concerns about the impending closure of the crown post office.

    It follows the news that government is planning to move the facility into the local SPAR shop later this year - the same is happening with the main office in Douglas. 
     
    Acting inspector Andy Kneen says police will be on hand for one reason only: 
     
     
    The march will start at 12.15pm and will take in West Street, Parliament Street and end up outside the post office - inspector Kneen says he doesn't anticipate any problems:
