Post Office reassure customers ahead of next weeks strike

The workers will be striking for 24 hours next Tuesday.

The Post Office is offering their customers reassurance that they have a robust contingency plan in place to cope with next weeks strike.

The workers will be striking for 24 hours next Tuesday.

The public have been advised that on the day an Island-wide doorstep delivery of standard post will not be possible, however the post office have said they’re confident all premium services will be available.

Potentially upto 269 members of staff could be out on strike.

All staff will be back in work the following day; and the post office have said every effort will then be made to catch up on the backlog.
