Strike action from members of the Communication Workers Union (CWU) has entered its second and final day.
Workers began the walkout early yesterday morning - with further negotiations between the CWU and post office failing to reach a solution on Thursday.
It concerns the ongoing dispute over proposed changes to pay and conditions.
Meanwhile, the postal service announced yesterday its contingency plans have worked 'extremely well'.
The post office added it welcomes the news that the CWU has no plans for further action over the Christmas period, and they're committed to continue working with them to bring the matter to a conclusion.
