Residents are being reminded the price of a local or UK letter goes up from today.
It'll now cost 62p to send them on Island or to Britain, a rise of 5p - meanwhile, the price of Royal Mail 1st Class has increased to 76p.
Furthermore, the price of sending mail to Jersey and Guernsey has risen to 70p and 68p respectively - both a small rise of 3p.
The new rates were initially announced by Isle of Man Post Office last month - it's chair, Julie Edge MHK, says with mail volume still in decline, price increases are 'regrettably inevitable'.
