Primary school donates thousands to Hospice

Hospice Isle of Man says it's "very touched" after pupils donated thousands of pounds to its Big Splash campaign.

Anagh Coar school raised just over £2,000 at a sponsored walk in July.

That total was matched by Lloyds Bank to bring the final donation to £4,073.

Hospice CEO Anne Mills said: "We were incredibly touched by the pupils’ enthusiasm for our Big Splash campaign".

The Big Splash was a public art project aimed at raising funds to go towards the charity's annual budget of £5m.
