Projected figures from a recent census show the Island's population will have climbed to 92,000 by 2036.
Since the census of 2021 the Island has seen 461 more people moving here, amidst a major drive to attract people to the Island with the Chief Minister's overall goal of achieving 100,000 residents by 2037.
Despite this figure there is still a large demographic that move off the Island within five years of relocating here.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan says this statistic isn't surprising and their focus should be on inward migration:
