The Island could be getting new rules to investigate anti-competitive practices, if Tynwald approves them.
When the court sits later this month the Office of Fair Trading will ask members to vote for the new procedures.
They set out how suspects are treated if the OFT thinks a market is functioning against the interests of consumers or the economy.
Tynwald is due to sit from Tuesday, January 21.
