Port St Mary will keep its post office, according to the new owners of the town's newsagent.
Calvert's on Bay View Road will become Torden Stores from the end of February.
The Post Office looked under threat after nobody applied to run it during a bidding process last September - but new bids were sent in a month later when the organization reopened bidding.
Now, Torden Stores says it's been offered the contract subject to details being finalized.
